INTERVIEWS
You will receive and individual portfolio that
documents your child's experiences whilst they are
at Chiselhurst. Your child's teacher will always be
willing to discuss your child's progress. In this instance, please contact
your teacher in advance and arrange a time; drop off
and pick up times are very busy for staff and important
messages need to be quickly passed.
PARENT
LIBRARY
A selection of books and video's are available for
parents to borrow. These are on display above the
sign-in table and may be borrowed following the regular
library borrowing procedure. If you are seeking information
on a certain topic, it may also be worthwhile
approaching
your teacher as Chiselhurst may have resource
information
which can be made available to parents.
PARTICIPATION
There are numerous ways you can participate whilst
your child is enrolled at Chiselhurst. The management
committee is elected from the parent body and we would
encourage you to become involved. Not only do you
assist Chiselhurst but you have a greater understanding
of what happens at Chiselhurst. All families become
financial members of the Association by paying a $5.00
annual membership fee with term one fees.
Aside from the management committee, there are
many opportunities for you to make a positive
contribution to Chiselhurst. Whether it be helping
with the library, working in the garden, planning
social events, or bringing in resources for our collage
trolleys for the children to use – every contribution
is equally valuable.
