EVENTS COMING UP…

Throughout the year our beautiful community of teachers, parents and friends hold special events and activities such as our annual Winter Wonderland and our annual Open Day. These events help us to celebrate our kindergarten, nurture our wonderful children and community and to raise money to help us deliver the extraordinary, magical beginning in education we are so passionate about. When these events have been planned, we will include information about them below (as well as on our Facebook page and on Instagram).

 

PARENT INFORMATION EVENING - 2026 Intake Only
Tuesday 13 May 2025 at 7:00pm onwards

For families on our 2026 waitlist, we have a Parent Information Evening to discuss what to expect over the coming months, and into the new school year with Chiselhurst Kindergarten.

We will address:

  • The waitlist and enrolment offer process and associated timeframes

  • Kindergarten groups and programs

  • Introduce the teaching staff and current committee members

  • Provide a taster of what the programs will look like for the students

This is an excellent opportunity for you to come and meet the teachers, get to know some other prospective parents, and see what makes Chiselhurst so magical!

Please note:

  • This is a child-free event

  • Registration is essential

  • Numbers will be capped, so early registration is encouraged!

  • This is only for families who are currently on the waitlist for our 2026 intake

COME & PLAY DAY OPEN DAY 2025
Wednesday 14 May 2025 at 9:30-11:30am

Chiselhurst wishes to extend an invitation to you and your child to attend our Come & Play Morning!

This is an opportunity for children to experience some of the activities offered at Chiselhurst and to become more familiar with our centre.

Please bring along:

  • a shady hat

  • sunscreen

  • morning tea for your child

  • a water bottle

You are welcome to bring along any family or friends that may also be interested in having their child attend Chiselhurst in the coming years. We look forward to meeting you at our fun-filled morning!

WORKING BEE
Sunday 18 May 2025 at 8:00am onwards

Please Note: Workplace Health and Safety Regulations prohibit children attending this event

Our property supports our programs so beautifully, and a few times a year we like to come together and give it a bit of love!

On Sunday May 18, we invite you to come and join us in giving our grounds some attention and share a morning tea provided by the Daisy group once our chores are finished.

We will be focussing on the grounds, and property maintenance. This will include carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.

Some of the tools you may like to bring with you for the morning are:

  • Gardening tools - including shovel, rake, pressure cleaner, or chainsaw

  • Carpentry tools

  • Trailer

  • Wheelbarrow

We would encourage you to also bring:

  • A shady hat

  • Sunscreen

  • A water bottle

WINTER WONDERLAND
Saturday 7 June 2025 at 2:00-5:00pm

Join us on this incredible day for Winter Wonderland! This is our main fundraising event for the year where we have raffles, stalls and auctions and fun for the whole family.

There are three levels of sponsorship available: Gold ($500), Silver ($275), and Bronze ($150).

We are also accepting auction and raffle prize donations

DAD’S GOLF DAY
Friday 1 August 2025 (time to be advised)

Get those dusty clubs out of the shed and get ready to impress us all with your distant drive and perfect putts, we’re organising a Dad’s Golf Day on Friday, 1 August 2025!
